“Enter into children’s play and you will find the place where their minds, hearts, and souls meet.”- Virginia Axline

Play is the most natural form of communication for children. In my practice, we use a variety of play and sensory activities to facilitate communication and healing. I treat children and teens with anxiety, depression, tantrums and emotional outbursts, social isolation, ADHD, and children on the autistic spectrum. Whether your child is struggling in school, has worries that just won’t go away, has trouble making friends or connecting with other children, is exhibiting low self-esteem, has difficulty regulating emotions, or adjusting to a changes in the family, we can find the best way to address it together.

I often incorporate parents or siblings into my sessions with children and teens, with the understanding that, when one person is receiving treatment, it impacts the entire family. Family members are integral to a child’s treatment. I can help you learn new ways to engage and connect with each other.
